Where is Pikey Peak?
Pikey peak situated at an altitude of 4060 m is the highest hill of Solukhumbu region. Locally known as pikey danda, the name came from Sherpa clan deity. Local sherpa people worship their god on the month of July as Pikey Hlapchen Karbu.
What to See?
You will have a majestic views of Himalaya Mt. Everest, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Manaslu, Number, Gaurishankar, Karylung, Thamserku, Mera peak, Ama Dablam and Nuptse. These mountain sees spectacular during sunrise and sunset.
How to Trek?
The trail goes through the dense forest, rocky and sloppy hills. The jungle of rhododendron during spring season will bloom in full. The Buddhist old monasteries on the trail are another attractions.
